Free To-Do List Template for Google Sheets (with Checkboxes)
A simple, satisfying to-do list: tick a box and the task is crossed out, overdue tasks are flagged automatically, and a progress bar shows how much you've finished.
The copy is saved to your own Google Drive. You need to be signed in to a Google account.
What's included
- Tick boxes in column A for 47 tasks.
- Task, priority and due date columns.
- Status: shows Done, Overdue (past the due date and not ticked) or To do.
- Progress: the percentage of tasks done, with a bar drawn by SPARKLINE.
How to use it
- Make a copy with the button above.
- Type over the example tasks, or clear them and start fresh.
- Add a due date if the task has one.
- Tick the box when you're done.

The crossing out is a conditional formatting rule on B4:E50 with the custom formula =$A4=TRUE, strikethrough and grey text.
Customise it
- More rows: select the last checkbox, copy it, and paste it further down column A. Extend the conditional formatting range in Format → Conditional formatting.
- Priority drop-down: select column C and add a drop-down list with High, Medium and Low.
- Sort by due date: use Data → Sort range on A3:E50 with the header option ticked.
